I have to admit that I really enjoy the fall. The leaves change, the daytime temperature is fairly moderate, the nights are sometimes chilly or downright cool. I could take a walk on a cool fall morning and almost imagine that life was good for a few minutes before something took me back into the realm of reality. Don't get me wrong, I am not dissatisfied with life, it is actually much the way that I expected it to be, but in today's world, how do you get lost? Cell phones, voicemail, answering machines, modern conveniences or a bain to society? Yeah you can tgurn them off, but the friggin' VM is always there. Even e-mail, you inevetably get the " I emailed you, why don't you write back." HEY UP YOURS- I wanted a day to myself. Getting back to the subject, the autumn weather is beautiful here in the Northeast. I have to keep the promise to myself to take a hike in October up into the mountains, and leave all modern conveniences at home. Maybe I'll just pack up and leave for a few days, go do my own thing.
