Even Bob Saget Would Find This Funny

This has to be one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. If I had a video camera with me at the time, I could make a lot of money from one of those video shows. Now I know that it isn’t nice to make fun of people, but I’m going to do it anyway, first because this is, in fact, my blog and second, because it is just too funny to not share with anyone who reads this.

At a bar the other night, I saw this scene:

A group of people were at the bar that we knew from work. They all seemed to be having a good time. I order some drinks for the people who I was with (and thanks for coming to dinner) and am standing at the bar talking to a guy I knew, as I wait. I hear this huge thud, the floor shakes and you hear almost at the same time a whole lot of people say- “Oh shit!” Turns out that somebody, who we’ll leave nameless, tried to pretend that they were Mary Lou Retton and jump on one of the guys, slipped off him and fell hard on her back. Now, even I can’t point and overtly laugh, but I thought about it. I turned to the guy I was talking to and we were hysterical about it. She popped up and said something like I’m alright, but you knew it hurt.

I can’t imagine how embarrassing that is. I mean, two years ago I was drunk and fell down on an icy sidewalk, not once, but twice. However, I was with two friends when that happened and they both asked if I was OK. This was different, there were a lot of people in there to see that and there wasn’t any ice on the floor. As I write this, I’m laughing so hard that I’m crying because I keep seeing the picture over and over and over in my head and it is really f’d up.
