Orange Traffic Cones

My son is a very funny boy. Not funny like “yeah, yeah, that’s a funny knock knock joke son.” Funny to the point that you want to fall down on the ground and laugh until you cry. Take this example from yesterday:

I picked him up at school. There were orange traffic cones outside. He likes that construction stuff. Anyway, he asked me why they were there. I told him that they were there to make sure nobody parked on the sidewalk. I asked him if he wanted me to show him a trick with the cone, so I picked it up to use like a megaphone and told him to put his head in the big end. When he did that, I growled at him like a bear, at which point he jumped about six feet in the air, came down laughing, and begged me to do it again. I was laughing and he’s says, “You scared the heck out of me, do it again!” That really set it off, so here we are, chasing each other around outside of his school with an orange traffic cone, as his two teachers watch us out the window. Hopefully he remembers this and thinks I’m a cool Dad.
