Winter and Works Finest

It is a nasty day out there. Snow, sleet and freezing rain. I’m fine with the snow and sleet, it is the freezing rain that I can do without. My car is good in the snow. It is heavy, able to driven in either automatic or standard-ish (you know, the triptronic thing). Basically, it drives through just about anything that is under three feet tall.

I started my day out close to home to try to avoid the office and possibly park my car for most of the day. That was to no avail. As soon as I called and said that I had had my meeting, I got the dreaded “are you coming to the office?” Now the office is 20 miles from where I was, but I figured that if the boss wants me at the office that I should probably go. So I did and arrived at the office approximately 45 minutes later. Then the boss left, said his feet got wet this morning and that he was going home and probably wouldn’t be back today.

My feet are wet, I’m going to have to commute home for an hour when it usually takes 25 minutes, and I’m going to sit here with my feet on the desk bored off my ass. I give up!

You are both right.
