Parochial School 2

My last post indicated that field trips at school were to be "curtailed." I thought about that more. It was suggested to me that "kids should not miss out." So with that in mind, I thought about it some more. Not because I'm a nice guy or anything, but because I don't want my son to miss out on something good, because his mom is a "newly converted Bible Thumper," I offered up $100 to help offset the price of petroleum. We shall see if they take my tithe.

I agree with you on one point. That point being that they run the school as a business. Hopefully, he develops his own sense and if he chooses to embrace that spirtuality, than he will be better for it. I shield him from my views for that express reason.

I also don't think "I hate God." I hate the Catholic Church. If I found a religion that accepted half of my views, I would have a different outlook on the entire thing.

Maybe he can join the K of C and be the Grand Knight one day.

You didn't turn out that bad from Catholic school - Could be worse if he went to public school & he ended up a Kingston thug wanna be :)
