The Blizzard-Archies Reincarnation

" It has finally happened. Over the course of the last few weeks, Archies remnants have been set free from the macadam, the last vestages of his being wiped clean by the slick blade of a snowplow cleaning this weeks newly fallen 12 inches of snow. It is strange, as I now look out and see that the familiar stain has been removed from the asphalt, the feeling of loss again overwhelms me, as if it was just yesterday, that Archie took his plunge from the porch railing, rolled down the hill and into the street, his final moment spent looking at the grill of a Mack truck as it bore down on him. Then I wonder, sometimes aloud, will Archie be born anew this spring? It isn't so far fetched, since Archies pumpkin guts were strewn all over the surrounding area.
