"Patrick Called- He'd Like HIS Team Back."

AN OPEN LETTER TO MR. ISAIH THOMAS (GM OF THE NEW YORK KINICKS AND FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DESTROYING A STORIED FRANCISE):

I, Pete, humbly request that you please review my resume. I have played playground basketball in that hotbed of basketball talent, otherwise known as the Mid Hudson Valley. While I am not very tall (5'10) and not so fast anymore, and I have a balky knee and a shredded ankle, I believe I can help you.

I have a baskeball IQ, something that few of your players have. I also believe that I could average 3 or 4 points a game and that would be more than most of the team.

While I'm at it, I also think you should take a look at a few of my friends, some of which are better than me at this sport. I also think that you should bring Allan Houston out of retirement to stand on one leg in the corner of the court behind the arc and throw up three point shots, I'm sure he'd shoot at least 40% and who would want to get shown up by a guard standing on one leg?

In all reality, what the hell is going on there?

The "big men" play small, foul out. Bring back Pat!

I want to see Mr. Ewing where he belongs. Not in Houston with Van Gumby or somewhere playing cards with MJ. I refuse to go to another Knick game until Pat is back----or----

YOU ARE GONE!
