From the list of overheard things in the course of conversations comes this GEM:
“Ewwww I don’t like those!”
“Those are brussel sprouts.”
“Yuck!”
“Oh they aren’t so bad! You know what those are? Bushes!”
“No.”
“Yes, Grandpa likes to eat a bush. Grandma? Are there any more bushes in the kitchen?
“Yes, one.”
“Well can you bring me a bush then?”
“Sure.”
“Grandpa loves to eat bush.”
This is a true story and it happened yesterday.
